Happy Friday friends! The weekend is finally here!!!

On another note, I absolutely couldn't wait to share this post!

Another reason why Montreal is the city that it is, it's because of its locals. For those of you have never been to Montreal, I highly recommend planning your first visit this summer! It's a very diverse and multicultural city, with beautiful architecture, parks, attractions and "city gems". Now, if you are from Montreal, you can vouch this.

Just the other day, I came across one of the city's gems; La Bistrote. It's a bistro - café located at 1510 Notre-Dame west in Griffintown. As I walked in, I knew this was an interior I had to share. The bistro has been designed by the owner who has a specific taste to the antique - rustic style.

Let me give you a visual tour...

I had the chance to ask Dana a few questions about her bistro.

First, La Bistrote will be turning seven years old this July. Dana was inspired to rent out this location, which was a previous teahouse close to her old apartment. The rent was fairly affordable which lead her to start her own business upon completing her studies at the culinary school at LaSalle College. I asked Dana, what inspired this vintage - rustic style, and she said the inspiration came from the printed black and white wall covering. From the single pattern, the combination of two contrasting style came together harmoniously.  Lastly, Dana would like to invite all Montrealers and travellers visiting the area to come by the La Bistrote and support a local Bistro - Café.

Word from Priscille: You'll absolutely love your visit!
